Join us for an insightful and empowering presentation with gerontologist educator Donna Fedus, gerontologist educator and founder of Borrow My Glasses, as she introduces Habilitation—a compassionate, person-centered model of dementia care that focuses on enhancing the abilities and emotional well-being of individuals living with dementia. Habilitation helps create an environment where those with dementia can thrive by promoting positive experiences and moments of connection, rather than focusing on limitations. It empowers caregivers to provide more effective support and foster meaningful interactions.

Donna Fedus is a gerontologist educator, adjunct professor, researcher, and founder of Borrow My Glasses, an education and evaluation company focused on aging and caregiving from a new perspective.
