No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow. ~Proverb

Such a simple message, and right now, it especially rings true. There’s no question that this has been a long winter in so many ways- yet regardless of how long it’s been- it’s always followed by the spring. I especially love the sense of newness that comes with spring, and witnessing new growth all around us as Mother Nature comes back to life.

While we are no longer a new community as we enter our seventh spring in White Plains, The Kensington has many new things happening this spring, along with happenings that are coming back to life with the weather. With each new program or new service being offered, I can sense a fresh breath of spring blowing away the heavy long air of winter.

So if you’ll indulge me for a minute, I’d love to tell you about just a few of the new and re-newed goings on at The Kensington.

Dining Room: When you think spring, you think barbecue, right? Our devoted chef Norm is itching to return to outdoor cooking and have some delicious spring themed barbecues, utilizing our own private garden whenever possible. Watch the menus and reader boards for these fun and social events.

Please stop in to see us, join us for a cookout, sign up to exercise and come welcome spring at 100 Maple Ave. We’d love to see you.

Warmly,
