fall changing of leaves

Season of Changes

As fall begins to peep into my peripheral vision this year, I think about the season of changes, and as I see the changes in the leaves and colors outside, I’m reminded of the many changes that are taking place here at The Kensington.

For starters, we’ve recently undergone a ‘refresh’ as they say in the business. You’ll notice new furnishings, new decorations, and a fresh new look throughout the building. Also in the name of changes, we have new team members who have joined us in some key positions, and we are excited to have them be a part of our team. In particular, please stop in, welcome and introduce yourself to our new Director of Business Administration: Tami Beck.

In the category of ‘exciting and new’, we have been participating in the cutting edge Eversound program with many of our residents in Memory Care. Eversound is the first wireless headphone system designed for senior living and greatly enhances residents’ ability to participate in our programming when they have some hearing loss. Also wearing a set of headphones, our Director of Marketing and Outreach, Brenda Moynihan will be hosting a live radio show called “Conversations with The Kensington” beginning on Wednesday October 17th on WVOX, 1460am.  Listeners will be encouraged to call in with questions or send us their questions on our Facebook page ahead of time and they will be answered on the show. So exciting!

Please come by to see us at The Kensington. See what’s new, what’s changing, meet new team members, and help us bring the fresh crisp season of fall into our building.

All are welcome at 100 Maple Ave – our doors are open to you!

With love,
