“Summer is a period of luxurious growth. To be in harmony with the atmosphere of summer, awaken early in the morning and reach to the sun for nourishment to flourish as the gardens do. Work, play, travel, be joyful, and grow into selfless service. The bounty of the outside world enters and enlivens us.” -Paul Pitchford
The outside world entering in. That really is what happens in summer, isn’t it? The outside world enters into our minds, our bodies, and our homes. Windows get opened, and barriers vanish. It’s such a nice melding of the outside and inside.
You should come to The Kensington this time of year. Take your loved one outside, sit on a patio under an umbrella, stroll past our Elephant Ear Hostas in the garden, sit by the fountain and listen to the running water, or go for a walk around the block and admire the hydrangeas. It’s amazing what a little fresh air can do for the spirit.
Our doors are welcome to visitors, friends and family, so please come by 100 Maple Avenue and enjoy the outside world with us!
