The Kensington White Plains developed a team recognition and rewards program called, Kensington Moment Awards. It is a way to say “thank you” and “well done” to those team members who have contributed to excellent customer service and supported Our Promise and Core Values.
For 2021, one of the Team Member of The Year Award Winners is Donna Porchi, Life Enrichment Supervisor.
Susie Sarkisian, Director of Family Services, wrote a wonderful message to share Donna’s accomplishments…to be sung in the tune of “12 Days of Christmas”!
Where do we begin?
Ok, let’s start with the fact that on MOST fronts, 2021 has been a year of ups and downs. It’s been a year where we’ve gotten our hopes up, and a year where we’ve found ourselves feeling deflated.
But in one area at The Kensington, the direction has only been UP. In this department, the energy level has increased, the excitement has multiplied, enthusiasm has blossomed, and many of us have benefitted.
First of all, our residents have come to life, because of this department. Their smiles are genuine. Their happiness is real. They are plugged in.
Secondly, our community has benefitted. This department works hand in hand with sales, and I can confidently say that their success is related to our success on the sales front.
And thirdly, The Kensington White Plains has been spotlighted and proven to be a groundbreaker ahead of our sister communities when it comes to this department.
Instead of listing the accomplishments, I invite you to sing along to the tune of Twelve Days of Christmas
