The Kensington strives to make each meal a satisfying experience in every way. Excellence in cuisine, presentation, service, and atmosphere is our goal.
We strive to please our residents and families every time they dine so they are eager to return.
Our main dining room is sophisticated and elegant. We urge families to dine with their loved ones often, as they would if their loved ones lived elsewhere*. Our talented and professionally trained executive chef, Joseph Sasso, creates meals that are flavorful, nutritious, and presented well.
Weekly menu selections are diverse and rotated regularly. Because taste and nutrition are priorities, ingredients are of very high quality. Meats include prime cuts.
Poultry, seafood and seasonal fruits and vegetables are fresh. Breads are wholesome and spices are flavorfully balanced. Heart-healthy selections are available every day. Servers will help identify sodium-restricted, low fat and sugar-restricted items.

Meet Chef Joseph Sasso
Joseph Sasso has enjoyed a career spanning over forty years, starting from his modest beginnings as a dishwasher to graduating from The Culinary Institute of America. His culinary journey encompassed various sectors of the food industry, including country clubs, hotels, restaurants, cafes, inflight catering, restaurant ownership, and consultancy. Over the past eleven years, Joe held significant roles at NY Hospitality Group in White Plains. Our community is known for its cuisine, and Joseph and his team delight our taste buds with every meal. Stop by our events this summer to experience the flavors our residents and families enjoy every day.
