The Kensington White Plains Information Center opens on Mamaroneck Avenue. Fountain Square Management Services begins doing business as Kensington Senior Living. Celina Watson joins The Kensington White Plains as Executive Director on January 3. The Kensington White Plains hosts its first Information Center Open House on January 14. The Kensington White Plains hosts events every week at the Information Center and occasionally at other venues.
The Models Open House is the first on-site event at 100 Maple Avenue in White Plains. Francine G. is the first resident to move in on September 1. Guests celebrate with residents and staff at the Grand Opening weekend on September 8, 9 & 10. Thirty residents move in within the first 30 days. The Kensington White Plains becomes the flagship community of Kensington Senior Living and lays the groundwork for future communities.
