A Decade of Excellence

10 Years of Love,

Caring for our Residents 2011 – 2021

Well over a decade ago, a passionate group of career-long senior living professionals dreamed of creating senior living residences they’d choose if their own parents needed care. They wanted to contribute their knowledge and heart to ensure quality of life for older adults and to grant peace of mind to the families who love them. So they made a plan, drew from their collective expertise, built a company and realized a dream.

10 Years of Our Promise

The courtyard of their new Reston, VA office space is called Fountain Square, so they name their company Fountain Square Properties. They proceed in developing condos and hotels throughout the country.

What Makes Us Different?

In 2011, the leadership of Kensington Senior Living announced their promise to love and care for your family as they do their own. They opened the doors of a beautiful community to seniors in and around White Plains, and they have spent the last 10 years upholding that promise.

The Kensington White Plains is an assisted living and memory care residence that is unlike any other throughout Westchester County. One of its most distinguishing characteristics is an enhanced assisted living license, which means that no residents will be asked to leave if they become frail or if care needs become advanced. The Kensington’s license, along with stable leadership, devoted caregivers and innovative programming, contribute to an unmatched level of excellence.

Other striking features of which The Kensington is proud include:

  • Ninety percent of the original team and partners are still in place.
  • The first Director of Nursing, MaryAnn Durso, continues to support residents, families and colleagues.
  • Relationships with professional resources and expert medical providers are thriving.
  • The spectrum of clinical care, assisted living services and memory care is comprehensive and progressive.

The Kensington team looks back on the last decade with deep pride. And, they look ahead to the future with unwavering commitment to stability, growth, knowledge, best-in-class care and unparalleled service.

We welcome you to inquire about becoming a part of our Kensington family.
